Brice Williams, MD, PhD

Dr. Williams was born in Provo, Utah and has lived all over the United States. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Brigham Young University. He then graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina, simultaneously earning an M. D. degree and Ph. D. degree in Neuroscience. He completed his residency at the Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake, where he did extensive research in macular degeneration.

Dr. Williams specializes in cataract surgery, plastic surgery of the eyelids and Lasik using the most current equipment and techniques. His specialty training also includes treatment of macular degeneration. His research in the field of macular degeneration has been presented at scientific forums on the subject. Dr. Williams also treats other ocular medical conditions, including diabetes and glaucoma.

Dr. Williams is married and has four children. Tawni, his wife, is a Bountiful native. Together they do triathlons, personally sponsoring a triathlon for charitable purposes in Bountiful every August. Together they also enjoy the outdoors, rock climbing, skiing and country dancing. Dr. Williams also speaks fluent Spanish.
